Brain Canada is a national non-profit organization dedicated to advancing brain health research in Canada. By supporting innovative, collaborative, and interdisciplinary initiatives, Brain Canada aims to deepen our understanding of the brain and accelerate the discovery of solutions to prevent, diagnose, and treat neurological and mental health disorders.
In partnership with researchers, institutions, and donors across the country, the organization plays a key role in building a strong, inclusive, and impact-driven research ecosystem.
Reporting to the Lead, Digital Communications and Development, the Marketing and Communications Advisor coordinates, writes, and distributes public announcements, including researcher profiles, impact stories related to research programs, donor profiles, and brain health awareness content across all digital platforms (website, emails, social media, and newsletters).
The successful candidate also supports the development of proposals, reports, and philanthropic development materials intended for donors. With strong organizational skills and a high level of autonomy, this individual acts as a liaison between teams, ensuring that each announcement, piece of content, or opportunity is strategically integrated and executed with rigor.
