The company

Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC) is the national policy, advocacy and promotional organization representing Canadian dairy producers. DFC works to create stable conditions for the dairy sector in Canada. The organization also seeks to maintain policies that support the sustainability of Canadian dairy production while promoting dairy products and their health benefits. DFC is currently looking for a Marketing Manager to join its team in Montreal.

The role

Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing, or any other person designated by DFC, the Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies that support Dairy Farmers of Canada’s objective of promoting and protecting the Canadian dairy industry.

This person is responsible for implementing and managing effective marketing programs, including all aspects of planning, execution and analysis of messaging elements based on established research and previous campaigns.

The right fit
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, advertising or another related field;
  • At least four years of relevant experience in a marketing role;
  • Tech savvy and open to adopting new tools, including artificial intelligence (AI);
  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of brand strategy and brand management;
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect strategic direction with execution;
  • Experience working with advertising and media agencies;
  • Experience in the food industry, retail packaged goods or a similar industry considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of the dairy sector considered an asset;
  • Bilingualism in French and English, both written and spoken.
