The role

The Project Controller (PCO) plays a cross-functional role within the Project Management Office, ensuring the integrated monitoring of schedules, budgets, deliverables, risks, and commitments across Aéro Montréal and Espace Aero projects. Working closely with project managers, the finance team, and organizational leaders, the incumbent consolidates and analyzes project information to provide clear and reliable reporting to management and support informed decision-making.

This role extends beyond administrative oversight and involves a direct contribution to project quality, transparency, and compliance. The successful candidate must be comfortable operating at both a highly operational level, including invoice tracking, purchase orders, and schedule monitoring, and a more strategic level, such as developing dashboards, supporting governance activities, and contributing to reporting and accountability processes. The position requires close collaboration with technical, financial, and administrative teams to ensure the rigorous and well-documented management of project activities.

In addition to supporting project leadership, the Project Controller contributes to the continuous improvement of project management processes by proposing tools, templates, and methodologies tailored to the Espace Aero environment. The incumbent also facilitates information flow among teams and partners by coordinating follow-up meetings and preparing clear, actionable documentation for decision-making bodies.
