Executive Director

The right fit

• Relevant university degree in cultural management, business administration, arts management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; alternatively, demonstrated experience in cultural management, arts administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience managing a non-profit organization
• Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating events is considered an asset
• Ability to work effectively with a Board of Directors and a solid understanding of non-profit governance best practices
• Strong planning, budgeting, and financial management skills
• Good understanding of the cultural sector, Quebec’s contemporary arts ecosystem, and cultural policies
• Ability to foster and maintain a healthy, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture
• Demonstrated collaborative and unifying leadership style
• Ability to build and maintain professional networks and institutional partnerships
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is considered an asset
• Knowledge of the Microsoft environment and related tools is considered an asset
