The role

The District Manager will report to the Region Vice-President and will lead the Montreal-East branch as a full P&L business unit, overseeing operations, sales, and financial performance.

The role requires a hands-on leader capable of mobilizing teams and operating effectively in a complex, unionized and customer-driven environment.

As a key contributor to the organization, the position supports transformation while driving performance and business growth.

 

The right fit
  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, engineering, management, or related field (or equivalent experience);
  • Certifications in project management or leadership (asset);
  • Strong general management experience with P&L responsibility;
  • Experience managing unionized teams in industrial or construction environments;
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth;
  • Proven track record of building, leading, and developing teams;
  • Solid experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and operational metrics;
  • Experience leading organizational change and transformation initiatives;
  • Knowledge of the elevator or construction industry (asset);
  • Strong understanding of safety compliance and regulatory requirements;
  • Experience with Salesforce or CRM systems (asset);
  • Fully bilingual (French and English);
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
