PANDA Lanaudière is one of the member associations of the PANDA Québec network and is dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals living with Attention Deficit Disorder, with or without hyperactivity (ADHD), as well as that of their loved ones.

Rooted in its community, the organization offers a human and accessible approach through support services, conferences, workshops, and resources for parents, children, teenagers, and adults, helping them better understand and manage ADHD in their daily lives. Through its role in awareness and education, PANDA Lanaudière contributes to a more informed and supportive environment, while pursuing its mission with ambition and a commitment to lasting impact.

The role

Reporting to the Board of Directors and with its support, the Executive Director ensures the organization’s mission is upheld and achieved, contributes to the planning of its development, and is responsible for its overall management.

This individual oversees the implementation of corporate strategies and the execution of Board decisions by planning, organizing, directing, and supervising the organization’s staff and activities. In collaboration with the Chair of the Board, the Executive Director also acts as the organization’s primary spokesperson and is ultimately accountable for its operations.

The right fit
  • University degree in management and or administration, with at least 3 years of experience managing volunteers in a community setting

  • 2 to 5 years of experience managing nonprofit organizations and or in a management role involving multiple stakeholders

  • Experience in team management

  • Knowledge of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and resource development

  • Previous experience in maintaining and developing funding sources such as sponsorships, fundraising, reporting, and grants

  • Experience in governance and working with a Board of Directors, including follow ups, dashboards, and reporting

  • Experience in public relations, including representation with community groups, organizations, media, and funders

  • Knowledge of and or strong interest in ADHD
