The role

Reporting to the Chief Talent and Professional Development Officer, the Director, Training and Skills Development will be responsible for structuring the professional development journey, from articling students through to partnership, and for orchestrating a cohesive training and development offering across Quebec.

The right fit
  • University degree in human resources, law, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role in talent development or organizational development;
  • Experience providing strategic guidance to managers and senior leaders;
  • Experience designing and deploying talent management initiatives, including performance management, leadership programs, succession planning, and emerging talent development tools;
  • Experience in organizational effectiveness or change management, including the implementation of initiatives such as internal mobility and other organizational transformation levers;
  • Experience identifying training needs and developing learning strategies;
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in complex environments;
  • Strong knowledge of organizational development and change management approaches and tools;
  • Experience managing external vendors or partners;
  • Experience within the professional services sector; experience in a law firm environment is considered an asset.
