The Corporation des propriétaires immobiliers du Québec (CORPIQ) is a non-profit organization that supports, advocates for, and represents rental property owners throughout Quebec. With more than 40 years of experience and over 30,000 property owners and managers among its members, CORPIQ is unquestionably the largest association of its kind in Canada.

A leader in Quebec’s rental housing industry, CORPIQ’s mission is to advocate for property owners’ interests with industry stakeholders and government authorities. Over the years, CORPIQ has expanded its member offering to provide increasingly comprehensive support in the day-to-day management of rental properties.

The organization also provides its members with a full range of services and tools tailored to their needs, helping to improve the environment for both property owners and tenants while contributing to Quebec’s sustainable economic growth.

The role

Reporting to the Executive Management team, the Director, Sales, Business Development and New Markets will play a strategic role in CORPIQ’s growth and visibility. They will be responsible for developing, leading, and executing business development strategies and expansion into new markets.

Their leadership will help drive sales performance, increase market share, and build sustainable, high-impact partnerships. Acting as a strategist, manager, and ambassador, they will help position CORPIQ as a key player in its industry and a partner of choice for its members and institutional clients.

The right fit
  • University degree in business administration, marketing, or another field relevant to the position;
  • More than 10 years of demonstrated experience in sales and business development within the service sector;
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining partnerships;
  • Proven experience managing a sales team;
  • Experience implementing sales processes and best practices, structuring a sales team, and developing KPIs;
  • Ability to manage a budget and provide financial and performance reporting;
  • Strong command of technology platforms, including familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot;
  • Experience presenting results to a Board of Directors is considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of Quebec’s real estate ecosystem is considered an asset.
