The organization

For more than 200 years, the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal (CCMM) has served as an influential voice and a catalyst for economic development in Greater Montreal. Bringing together a broad community of businesses, leaders, entrepreneurs, and institutional partners, it contributes to the vitality and competitiveness of the metropolitan area by fostering dialogue, innovation, visibility, and economic growth.

As an impactful organization, the Chamber supports businesses at every stage of their development through services, programs, events, economic development initiatives, and advocacy with decision-makers. It also plays a leading role in identifying emerging economic issues, promoting the interests of the business community, and mobilizing key stakeholders to address the city’s major challenges.

The role

Reporting directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President, Growth and Customer Experience provides cross-functional leadership across all departments that contribute to the Chamber’s growth, engagement, and value creation. She oversees the International Markets, Francization Program, Digital Acceleration and Marketing, Event Management, as well as Membership and Partnerships teams.

In this role, she acts as a catalyst for the Chamber’s entire growth ecosystem. Without replacing functional expertise, she ensures its integration, fosters synergies, and mobilizes teams around common goals. She ensures that the strategies, action plans, and decisions of each department are aligned with the expected results in terms of revenue, customer experience, member engagement, partnerships, and organizational impact.

The incumbent works closely with the Vice President, Economic Intelligence and Influence, who informs the Chamber’s strategic decisions through an in-depth understanding of the business environment and leads the organization’s advocacy and outreach efforts. Within this complementary dynamic, the Vice President, Growth and Customer Experience transforms this intelligence into concrete opportunities for development, value creation, customer base growth, expansion of the service offering, strategic partnerships, and revenue diversification.

She also works closely with the Executive Vice President, Performance and Innovation, who is responsible for organizational performance, execution of the strategic plan, transformation, organizational capabilities, talent, technology, and financial sustainability. Together, these two functions ensure alignment between the Chamber’s growth ambitions, its execution capabilities, and its investment decisions, thereby helping to prioritize initiatives that support its performance and long-term sustainability.
