Reporting to the leadership teams of Propulsion Québec and Aéro Montréal, the Program Manager, Defence and Transportation acts as both a strategic and operational lead for the program.
This individual is responsible for the development, deployment, day-to-day management, and reporting of the program, while also playing a key role in mobilizing the industry and serving as a knowledge relay in the defence sector.
The role combines business development, management of strategic programs, and a strong understanding of the dynamics specific to the defence sector.
Bachelor’s degree in administration, management, engineering, international relations, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Proven experience in business development, program management, or project management, ideally in a sectoral, industrial, or economic context
Experience or significant exposure to the defence ecosystem, including understanding of key issues, stakeholders, regulatory frameworks, or funding mechanisms
Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex programs or initiatives, including establishing processes and tracking tools
Strong experience in writing, reporting, and/or document management
Experience working in multi-stakeholder and cross-functional environments, involving diverse stakeholders (e.g., private companies, public or parapublic organizations, institutional partners, and sectoral ecosystems)
Experience in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, or coordination
Experience supporting organizations or businesses (e.g., market development, project structuring, access to networks or partners), considered a strong asset
Experience within public, parapublic, associative, non-profit, or ecosystem-based organizations (e.g., industry clusters, economic development organizations), considered an asset
