The role

Reporting to the President, the incumbent supports senior management, managers, and employees, and oversees all activities related to human resources management, both at the strategic and operational levels, for the company’s Quebec, Canadian, and U.S. subsidiaries.

The individual plays an active leadership role in fostering a positive corporate culture and promoting organizational success, aligned with the company’s values, vision, and mission.

The right fit
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or equivalent;
  • Member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (CRHA or CRIA);
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a generalist human resources role, including at least 3 years in a leadership position;
  • Demonstrated experience as a strategic partner to senior leadership (participation on an executive committee);
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within an SME or in a growth or transformation environment;
  • Experience in attracting and retaining key talent, including oversight of recruitment processes;
  • Hands-on experience drafting, updating, and implementing HR policies, programs, and tools (HRIS);
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits laws and practices in Quebec (required) and in the United States (an asset);
  • Experience managing a team.
