Groupe BMTC Inc. is a business corporation governed by the Loi sur les sociétés par actions (Québec). Its structure includes the Tanguay division and the real estate division. The company manages and operates one of the largest retail networks for furniture, household appliances and electronics in Québec.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Finance is a finance generalist who acts as the right hand of the CFO, supporting department oversight and ensuring continuity between leadership and the finance team. The person in this role contributes actively to structuring and developing the finance function. This position requires someone versatile and proactive, able to grasp the full scope of financial activities, including those related to the real estate division. The ideal candidate will bring rigor, sound judgment and an intrapreneurial mindset to support the evolution of the team and its processes, in a context where several strategic projects are underway and where collaboration and authenticity are central to Groupe BMTC’s culture.
