As Senior Director of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities of the organization. You will lead a team of managers and accounting technicians, ensuring that all financial functions are carried out with rigor, transparency, and in compliance with applicable accounting standards and legal requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
Strong financial analysis and budget management skills
Solid knowledge of government reporting requirements
In-depth knowledge of taxation, accounting, and financial regulations
Proficiency with financial systems and ERP software
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts
CPA designation
Experience in the tourism or non-profit sector, an asset
Knowledge of fund accounting (lodging tax, grants, etc.), an asset
