Guided by the collective interests of the industry, the Alliance highlights and propels the significant contribution of tourism to the socio-economic vitality of Québec’s regions. Since its creation, it has served as the official spokesperson for the private and associative tourism sector on behalf of its members.

The role

The person in this role will oversee the marketing of multiple tourism product lines targeting markets outside Québec. This includes developing and executing integrated 360° marketing strategies (digital, content, public relations, social media, etc.) aimed at niche and specialized audiences.

They will also be responsible for developing and implementing the organization’s annual digital strategy (DCO, SEM, SEO, etc.). This involves working closely with various marketing teams to ensure alignment across initiatives, and acting as a subject matter expert to support optimization efforts and the integration of emerging innovations.

The Marketing Project Manager leads a team of project managers and coordinators, ensuring that objectives are met and strategic goals achieved. In addition, they work collaboratively with regional and sectoral tourism associations as well as tourism businesses. Their role includes advising partners on identifying potential collaborations and synergies, as well as on strategies and actions to enhance destination awareness, spark traveler interest, and drive tourism spending.

The right fit
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and marketing product lines (ideally in markets outside Québec)
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a team
  • Proven expertise in digital marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and partners
  • Strong interest in and knowledge of artificial intelligence and its implications and opportunities in marketing
  • Proficiency in digital platforms (Google Ads, Google Analytics, DSPs, and other activation tools) and emerging technologies
  • Deep understanding of digital buying technologies
  • Excellent written and spoken French and English
  • Knowledge of Québec’s tourism offering (an asset)
