The role
Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing or another designated representative at DFC, the Marketing Manager plays a key role in developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies that support the organization’s mission to promote and protect Canadian dairy products.
This person will be responsible for executing and managing effective marketing programs, overseeing all aspects of planning, analysis, evaluation, development, management, and message dissemination based on established research and past campaigns.

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, advertising, or a related field;
- 5 to 7 years of relevant marketing experience; experience in the food industry, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or similar sectors is a strong asset, as is experience working with independent retailers, retail chains, and value-added resellers;
- Strong understanding and expertise in brand creation and management;
- Solid business acumen and a deep understanding of promotional program implementation;
- Experience working with advertising and media agencies;
- Knowledge of the dairy industry is an asset;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both official languages, combined with strong presentation and facilitation abilities;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams/Zoom, SharePoint), with a willingness to learn additional platforms as needed;
- Project management experience is considered an asset;
- Fluency in French and/or English is required (bilingualism is essential).
