For over 55 years, le Centre d’action bénévole (CAB) Iberville has been a pillar of the local community, providing essential services to seniors, families, and anyone in need. The role

Reporting to the board of directors, the executive director is responsible for the overall management of the organization, both strategically and operationally. They are responsible for planning, development, human resources supervision, financial management, governance, communications, and relations with funders. They embody the CAB’s mission, ensure the quality of services, and act as a figurehead for partners, volunteers, and the community.

The right fit

University degree in administration, management, and/or a related field;
A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing non-profit organizations and/or in a management role involving multiple stakeholders;
Experience in team management;
Experience in establishing relationships and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and interested parties (e.g., volunteers, round tables, government agencies, etc.);
Knowledge of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and resource development;
Previous experience in maintaining and developing funding (philanthropy, fundraising, donors, grants, etc.);
Experience in governance and relations with a board of directors (follow-ups, dashboards, reports, etc.);
Experience in identifying and executing service development initiatives;
Experience in public relations (public speaking, media relations);
Experience in infrastructure operations management (building management, renovations, etc.).
