For over 35 years, Éduc’alcool has been raising awareness among the Quebec population about responsible alcohol consumption. Its core mission is to empower individuals to make informed decisions regarding alcohol use, through awareness campaigns, strategic partnerships, and on-the-ground initiatives.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for coordinating Éduc’alcool’s operations. This person will lead the development and implementation of programs, campaigns, and interventions, while overseeing strategic files, establishing partnerships, and advising the Board. The Executive Director also serves as Éduc’alcool’s representative with coordinating bodies, joint committees, working groups, and in various public and institutional settings.
University degree in administration, management, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit management and/or in a leadership role involving multiple stakeholders
Proven experience in team leadership and people management
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders (e.g., volunteers, private partners, government bodies, etc.)
Solid knowledge of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and resource development
Experience in fundraising and financial sustainability (e.g., philanthropy, donor relations, grants, private partnerships)
Familiarity with governance and working with a Board of Directors (e.g., reporting, dashboards, follow-ups)
Experience in public relations, including public speaking, media relations, and government affairs
Strong command of English
