Reporting to the National Director, Chief Data & AI Officer, the Director, AI Governance and Adoption is responsible for driving the evolution of the enterprise AI governance framework, and facilitating the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence technologies across the organization.
Acting as a strategic partner to executives and business teams, this individual supports the identification of opportunities, the integration of value-creating solutions and the development of an AI-literate culture. The incumbent also oversees the development of the practices, policies and governance mechanisms required to ensure the responsible and sustainable use of artificial intelligence technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems Analysis, Engineering, or Management Information Systems or related field;
Minimum of 5 years of experience focused on operationalizing data or technology strategy, machine learning, technology risk management, or corporate governance programs.;
Minimum of 7 years of experience leading technological multidisciplinary teams;
Demonstrated experience establishing and evolving enterprise AI governance frameworks, including the development of policies, controls, oversight mechanisms, and governance practices supporting the responsible use of artificial intelligence;
Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical governance models, operational processes, and scalable organizational practices;
Proven success leading large-scale adoption and transformation initiatives within complex, matrixed environments involving diverse stakeholder groups;
Strong understanding of artificial intelligence technologies, data governance, privacy, compliance, and the organizational implications of AI adoption;
Exceptional ability to communicate complex technological, governance, and risk-related concepts to executive leadership and diverse business audiences.
