K’(Prime)’s activities include chemistry, commercial security, the sale of next-generation AI-powered security equipment, and airport imaging systems (X-ray and millimeter wave technologies). K’(Prime) provides maintenance services for airport imaging equipment across all provinces and territories in Canada.

K’(Prime) is seeking a motivated, solutions-oriented individual to join its team of over 130 specialized imaging service technicians who play a critical role in ensuring Canadian aviation security.

The role

Reporting to the Regional Manager, Imaging Operations – Eastern Canada, the District Manager, Imaging Operations serves as the key leader responsible for overseeing and managing imaging activities within the assigned district. The district primarily includes the airports of Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa, and soon St-Hubert.

Responsibilities include leading a team of imaging service technicians deployed across multiple work sites, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical support and services in accordance with contractual obligations and established service levels.

The right fit
  • Post-secondary degree in administration, management, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 to 6 years of experience managing teams and multi-site operations;
  • Strong expertise in team engagement and change management;
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and coordination skills;
  • Proficiency with IT tools and systems (technical platforms, ERP, HR systems, Excel);
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements (CATSA, Transport Canada);
  • Ability to travel frequently between district airports and provide occasional support to other regional or national airports;
  • Bilingualism required (French mandatory, functional English);
  • Valid driver’s license and availability for occasional travel, approximately once every six weeks.
