Marc
Michaud

Director, Talent Management

Marc Michaud joins La Tête Chercheuse as Director, Talent Management and Business Development. Curious by nature and a true collaborator, he brings more than 15 years of management experience in complex, matrixed and unionized environments. These demanding settings have shaped his ability to bring together stakeholders with sometimes divergent interests, build trusted relationships and foster a shared vision that delivers results.

Throughout his career, Marc has developed an in-depth understanding of Quebec’s business ecosystem and the extensive network of decision-makers who shape it. At La Presse, he notably grew the team responsible for partnerships and strategic alliances, contributing to revenue growth from sponsorships and the self-service platform. Previously, his experience working alongside teams of advertising advisors at both La Presse and Les Affaires gave him the opportunity to work with organizations of all sizes and develop a practical understanding of their realities, ambitions and challenges.

His close collaboration with La Presse’s data science team also allowed him to deepen his understanding of the issues and opportunities surrounding artificial intelligence and agentic technologies. This perspective is particularly relevant at a time when these tools are transforming organizations, professions and, inevitably, the ways talent is identified and assessed.

Marc approaches business development the same way he approaches talent management: by seeking to understand first. To understand people, organizations, their needs and what can truly create long-term value. His approach is rooted in listening, curiosity and the quality of relationships : qualities he now brings to La Tête Chercheuse’s clients and business development.

Currently pursuing graduate studies in administration and marketing at ESG UQAM, Marc continues to expand his expertise with the conviction that strong leaders never stop learning. His rigour and genuine sensitivity to others also led him to serve as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Montreal Suicide Prevention Centre.

Bilingual, collaborative and deeply connected to Quebec’s business community, Marc now brings his ability to understand people, organizations and the environments in which they operate to La Tête Chercheuse’s mission: identifying the leaders of tomorrow.
