The Montreal Heart Institute Foundation collects and manages funds to support research, prevention, care, and education provided by the Montreal Heart Institute. We thus promote the excellence of an internationally renowned center serving the Montreal, Quebec, Canadian, and global communities, enabling it to fully accomplish its mission of combating cardiovascular diseases, the leading cause of mortality worldwide.

The role

Reporting to the Foundation’s CEO, the individual is tasked with achieving donation and partnership goals from companies across all economic sectors. The ideal candidate has an in-depth understanding of businesses’ challenges, a strong knowledge of philanthropy, and awareness of trends related to corporate social responsibility (CSR). They are recognized as a collaborative leader, with a partner-centric approach and exceptional interpersonal relationship skills.

Supported by the entire Foundation team, this individual significantly contributes to enhancing the Montreal Heart Institute’s (MHI) and its Foundation’s reputation for excellence in development and relationships with major donors.

The right fit

• Graduate degree in a relevant discipline;
• Over 10 years of relevant experience in similar roles;
• Experience in managing sales programs, partnerships, fundraising, and a good understanding of sponsorships
• Experience in developing, presenting, and closing large and complex partnership proposals;
• Excellent command of both French and English languages, both spoken and written. Required skills:
