The Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM) is a young organization born from the new public transit governance framework in the Greater Montréal area. With a focus on sustainable development and regional cohesion, the Authority plans, organizes, funds, and promotes public transit in the metropolitan region of Montréal to develop a simple, integrated, seamless, and efficient mobility experience.
The ARTM in numbers:
A true conductor within the department, this individual will be responsible for coordinating internal professionals and external partners on high-profile mandates in an environment where influence, diplomacy, and foresight are key.
Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Relations, Communications, or any other relevant field
At least 9 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, public affairs, or government relations
Proven experience managing or coordinating complex, high-visibility projects—ideally in a political or governmental context
Experience managing or coordinating multidisciplinary teams, even without a formal hierarchical role
In-depth knowledge of public transit issues or a strong interest in the sector; experience in a public relations or political firm will be considered a strong asset
Strong crisis management skills, including preparation, message coordination, and stakeholder management
