Montréal Hôtels & Suites Inc. is the owner and manager of the Square Phillips Hôtel & Suites, L’Appartement Hôtel, the Edison student residence, as well as several rental housing buildings. Located in the heart of downtown and the Quartier des spectacles, these establishments enjoy an excellent reputation and offer guests both comfort and a welcoming atmosphere.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Sales will play a key role in driving sales for two establishments (L’Appartement Hôtel with 126 units and Square Phillips Hôtel & Suites with 164 units).
The selected candidate will be responsible for active prospecting of corporate and leisure clients, while also optimizing long-term occupancy. They will work independently while collaborating with operations management and the existing team.
Degree in hospitality, business, commerce, and/or a related relevant field.
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the hotel industry, food service, or a related sector.
Experience in management or demonstrated interest in leadership.
Proven experience in contract negotiation and agreements.
Strong knowledge of hotel markets.
Proficiency with computer tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Familiarity with Maestro and Maximizer systems is an asset.
Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
