The role

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the incumbent acts as a strategic HR business partner to managers and employees across various departments, contributing meaningfully to the execution of business plans and the achievement of organizational objectives.

The role involves providing both operational and strategic support by implementing HR policies and programs. The incumbent also serves as a key resource in labour relations, supporting managers in addressing related issues and helping maintain harmonious relationships with stakeholders.

In addition, the individual will be involved in the implementation of major organizational projects and will play an active role in change management initiatives.

The right fit
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Human Resources) or Industrial Relations
  • Between 9 and 12 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong expertise in labour relations
  • Experience in a unionized environment, with a solid understanding of relational dynamics and conflict resolution
  • Proven track record in an advisory role, influencing and supporting managers or leadership teams
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in evolving and transformational organizational contexts
  • Member of a recognized professional order (CRHA, CRIA)
  • Excellent proficiency in French
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
