• University degree or equivalent with at least 10 years of relevant experience, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of Ottawa, Parliament Hill, and the broadcasting industry.
• Thorough understanding of Canada’s political system, as well as current and emerging issues and trends.
• Strong knowledge of the legislative and regulatory framework and organizations within Canada’s broadcasting system.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent reading and on-screen presentation skills.
• Solid experience in project management and team coordination.
• Outstanding writing skills tailored to broadcasting and public affairs.
• Proficiency in digital tools, including project management software, word processing, databases, and presentation tools.
• Ability to collect and analyze data to make accurate and timely decisions on journalistic and production matters.
• Willingness to travel for certain assignments (asset).
