The company

A property management company based in downtown Montreal manages a commercial real estate portfolio of approximately 650,000 square feet, comprising two office buildings. Recognized for its rigorous approach and commitment to operational excellence, the company is seeking a Director, Finance and Administration to support its growth and ensure the efficient management of its financial, administrative, and operational activities.

The role

Reporting to the company’s senior management, the Director, Finance and Administration is responsible for the integrated management of the finance, administration, and human resources functions. This individual ensures the reliability of financial information, the profitability of the properties under management, and compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

The right fit
  • CPA designation.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in commercial property management.
  • Strong expertise in real estate accounting and commercial lease administration.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software, particularly Yardi, is a strong asset.
  • Excellent command of both French and English, spoken and written.
  • Proven track record of stability, professionalism, and commitment.
