The role

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will be responsible for the overall management of OMHTR, based on principles of accountability, responsibility, sustainable development, and social support. He or she will ensure the smooth operation and development of the organization, in compliance with the standards and regulations of the Société d’habitation du Québec as well as those specific to the OMHTR.

The right fit

Management experience in architecture, construction, urban planning, civil engineering, or any other relevant field;
Proven track record in real estate project development and management, from strategic planning to implementation (construction, renovation, maintenance);
Knowledge of stakeholders in the real estate sector, with a well-established network;
Customer service skills and knowledge of the social housing sector, including knowledge of industry standards and regulations, a strong asset;
Experience with management and reporting to government authorities;
Understanding of board governance and the management of a public company;
General management experience (finance, human resources, technology, customer service, communication, etc.);
Experience managing teams of managers and unionized employees.
