The role
Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Business Development Manager – Industrial Projects will be responsible for the commercial development of custom industrial projects, with a strong on-site presence and close collaboration with engineering and project teams.
The right fit
- College diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field
- Solid understanding of industrial processes and operational and maintenance constraints in demanding environments (abrasion, impact, humidity, material variability)
- Ability to credibly discuss bulk material handling equipment and systems such as hoppers, feeders, conveyors, chutes, liners, screens/sifters, as well as material transfers and flows
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand technical drawings, layouts, and concepts
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills and a strong professional presence during client meetings
- Strong relational and sales aptitude, including active listening, influence, and the ability to challenge client needs
- Strong interest in developing and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Bilingual in French and English
- Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided by Vibrotech)
- Ability to travel within Québec and Ontario
