Please note that these volunteer positions include governance and executive responsibilities and involve direct participation in organizational decision-making.

Positions Available : 

1. Secretary and Director, Events : The Secretary is responsible for supporting the administrative functions of Board meetings, including agenda planning and meeting minute preparation. As Director, Events, this individual supports the Vice President, Events in managing event logistics, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of programs and activities that enhance member engagement and professional development.

2. Director, Member Relations : The Director, Member Relations is responsible for the overall member experience within the IABC Québec chapter. Responsibilities include preparing monthly membership reports, supporting membership recruitment efforts, and delivering value to existing members through a variety of initiatives.

3. Vice President, Partnerships and Sponsorships : The Vice President, Partnerships and Sponsorships is responsible for developing and implementing the chapter’s partnership strategy. This individual manages relationships with partners and oversees financial activities related to events and partnership agreements. The role also supports fellow Board members in budget planning and informed decision-making.

4. Executive Vice President and Member Relations : The Executive Vice President serves in an advisory capacity on the Executive Committee, ensuring continuity and smooth leadership transitions within the Board of Directors. Responsibilities include supporting the President in chapter management and chairing meetings in the President’s absence. The Executive Vice President also serves on the Nominating Committee, which is responsible for Board succession planning and recruitment.

5. General Volunteer : General Volunteers support the IABC Québec team with a variety of ongoing or project-based initiatives, depending on their interests, expertise, and availability. This role provides an excellent opportunity to get involved in a dynamic professional communications organization, expand one’s network, and contribute to initiatives that bring the communications community together.
