Philanthropy and Alumni Relations Director-3517

Polytechnique Montreal is an internationally renowned engineering university. The Role

The Philanthropy and Alumni Relations Director reports to the General Manager. Their mandate is to bring together and mobilize alumni, initiate and maintain lasting relationships with donors, and cultivate a culture of philanthropy within the Polytechnique Montreal community.

The Must-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in administration, management, engineering, or equivalent;
• A master's degree, accreditation, or qualifications in the field of philanthropy (an asset);
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership roles with increasing responsibilities in philanthropy for organizations comparable to Polytechnique Montréal;
• Relevant experience in a university, scientific, or technological organization (an asset);
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate one's vision, persuade and rally stakeholders while remaining flexible and open;
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team to implement significant initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders;
• Integrity and responsible conduct, agility and innovation, emotional intelligence, vision, strategic thinking, change management, and talent development;
• Excellent proficiency in the French language both orally and in writing;
• Proficiency in English both orally and in writing.
