Éco Entreprises Québec is a private, non-profit organization that has represented, since 2005, the producers marketing packaged goods, containers, and printed materials in their responsibility to finance curbside recycling.

Designated as the Producer Responsibility Organization in 2022, Éco Entreprise Québec oversees curbside recycling management in Québec, with a strong focus on sustainable development.

As a leader in Extended Producer Responsibility, Éco Entreprise Québec develops, manages, and advises its member producers on circular economy solutions aimed at reducing their environmental footprint. To achieve this, the organization places eco-design, recyclability, and traceability at the heart of its actions with its partners.

The role

Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications and Public Affairs, the incumbent provides advisory services to members of the organization’s various vice-presidencies and departments.

The right fit
  • University degree in Communications or any other combination of education and relevant experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in communications and/or public affairs

  • Strong writing experience (briefing notes, speeches, key messages, policy papers, etc.)

  • Experience in project or event management

  • Experience in developing internal communication plans

  • Experience in strategic communications with stakeholders

  • Experience in developing public communication plans

  • Experience in identifying and analyzing communication performance indicators

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint)

  • Knowledge of the environmental and green energy sectors, an asset

  • Knowledge of the municipal sector, an asset
