The company

Groupe Alesco is a well-established Quebec player in specialized financing, bringing together three complementary divisions: Finova, Alterfina and Track. With a team of approximately 125 employees, the organization combines the stability of a structured SME with the agility of an entrepreneurial company. Its reputation is built on strong financial health, engaged governance and a vision focused on sustainable growth.

Since its creation, Alesco has centered its development around personal credit, fostering an accessible and pragmatic approach. Today, the group is entering a new phase aimed at strengthening its foundations while accelerating its expansion.

The role

The Human Resources Director reports to the Vice President, Corporate Services, and works closely with the General Managers of the business units as well as all managers. This is a central role within a growing organization, where HR priorities require both strategic vision and strong execution capabilities.

In an SME context, the person in this role must balance strategic thinking with hands-on action, operating in an environment where processes must be structured progressively. Proximity to operations, teams and managers is essential.

The expected contribution is pragmatic, structured and focused on tangible results. This is a leadership position that influences organizational decisions while remaining present on the ground to ensure the coherence and effectiveness of HR practices across Groupe Alesco.

The right fit
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources management, industrial relations or any related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as an HR generalist, including at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally in a fast-paced SME environment and within an organization experiencing strong growth
  • Demonstrated achievements in business partnerships and strategic HR planning
  • Proven track record in building and deploying action plans to strengthen employee engagement
  • Strong capabilities in talent attraction, including recruitment, sourcing and integration
  • Strong capabilities in employee experience, including performance management, skills development and training, and succession planning
  • Strong competencies in labour relations, compliance and risk management
  • Experience in providing influential advisory support to managers and senior leadership
  • CRHA or CRIA designation considered a strong asset
