Reporting to the Co-Presidents, the Human Resources and Operational Process Optimization Specialist plays a key role in the company’s growth and operational efficiency. This person is responsible for all HR activities (recruitment, training, labour relations, occupational health and safety) and acts as a driver of continuous improvement to optimize operations and team effectiveness.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or any other relevant equivalent training or experience
3 to 7 years of experience in a human resources role, including the implementation and optimization of operational processes
Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices
Expertise in designing, implementing, and continuously improving processes that support operational efficiency and organizational performance (e.g., clear performance evaluation frameworks, defined salary scales, OHS plans, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to analyze operations, identify issues, and translate insights into concrete actions
Experience implementing, managing, or optimizing HR platforms (e.g., HR tools, online learning platforms, talent management systems)
Comfort with technology, analytics tools, and HR performance indicators
Operational experience in retail with point-of-sale systems (an asset)
Experience within an SME environment (an asset)
Experience with Agendrix (an asset)
