The company

Based in Montréal, Mercure Conseil is a boutique firm specializing in public affairs, government relations, corporate communications, marketing research, and investor relations, with an additional presence in Québec City. Discreet, loyal, and high-performing, the team supports industry leaders in managing stimulating and complex issues, offering comprehensive guidance at every step of the process thanks to its expertise in strategy, execution, and on-the-ground operations.

The role

Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing Communications, the Graphic Designer develops effective and innovative visual solutions that elevate content. The selected candidate will be responsible for meeting clients’ graphic design needs while collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners. They will also contribute to the firm’s visibility by representing Mercure within the business community and supporting the growth of key professional relationships.

The right fit
  • DEC in Graphic Design completed or in progress (Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design is an asset)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience creating a variety of communication materials (PowerPoint presentations, layouts, infographics, posters, brochures, newsletters, social media assets, etc.)
  • Experience updating websites and creating digital content
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms and awareness of emerging trends
  • Video editing skills, an asset
  • Strong comfort working in English
