The role

Corner is looking for a passionate, humble, energetic, and professional person with contagious enthusiasm and an innovative spirit. Reporting to the finance director, the person will be responsible for managing projects and working closely with operations to provide memorable service to internal customers.

The right fit
  • Degree in finance and/or business administration preferred;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hotel or restaurant environment in high-traffic establishments or in a sector related to the hotel/restaurant industry (food, retail, inventory management, etc.) and experience as a department manager;
  • Experience in managing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance;
  • Experience with financial involvement in inventory;
  • Good understanding of Opera PMS and Micros POS computer systems;
  • Ability to effectively manage a heavy workload, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  • Demonstrate natural leadership and be determined to have a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a positive impression;
  • Be fluent in French and English in order to communicate with international suppliers;
    Hold a professional accounting designation (an asset).
