The company

Creation and production organization, DLD is dedicated to supporting dance and performing arts creators who are deeply committed to their artistic research. Guided by the vision of its Artistic Director, the company provides personalized and strategic support to amplify the voices of creators both locally and internationally. DLD also strengthens its community through the development of impactful and structuring projects.

DLD envisions a world where contemporary dance reaches all audiences and where artists are fully recognized, valued, and supported in the practice of their art.

The role

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the incumbent shares responsibility for the organization’s overall leadership and assumes full responsibility for DLD’s administrative management. The person oversees the general administration of the company’s artistic project, as well as the management of its human, financial, and material resources.

 

The right fit
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience;
  • More than five years of management experience, including administration, finance and/or team leadership;
  • Strong experience in financial management, budgeting, accounting oversight, and financial forecasting;
  • Experience in grant administration, fundraising, and donor/funder relations;
  • Experience in human resources management, including staff supervision, employee relations, and team development;
  • Experience working with a Board of Directors, including governance, strategic planning, and organizational development;
  • Knowledge of the cultural and arts sector; familiarity with the performing arts and/or dance is considered a significant asset.
