The company

Technologies K’(Prime) Inc., or K’(Prime), is a global imaging services company headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nanalysis Scientific Corp. (TSXV: NSCI, OTCQX: NSCIF, FRA: 1N1).

K’(Prime) provides services in the fields of chemistry, commercial security, scientific instrument sales, and airport imaging services, including X-ray and millimeter-wave imaging. The company delivers maintenance services for airport imaging security equipment at airports across all Canadian provinces and territories.

The role

K’(Prime) is seeking hands-on, mechanically inclined candidates for the position of Imaging Services Technician. Initially, candidates will work at Montréal–Trudeau International Airport, and later at Saint-Hubert Airport.

Ideal candidates will have strong amateur or professional experience in the physical repair of electronic devices (e.g., computers, toys, household appliances) and/or mechanical systems (e.g., equipment, vehicles, machinery).

Following comprehensive training provided by K’(Prime), selected candidates will apply these skills to maintain and repair imaging security equipment at the airports we service.

The right fit
  • Has practical, hands-on experience in the repair or maintenance of electronic and/or mechanical systems.

  • Is available to travel elsewhere in Canada (e.g., Calgary, Mississauga, Ottawa) for professional training lasting from a few days to several weeks, particularly at the beginning of employment.

  • Lives near Montréal–Trudeau International Airport, allowing arrival on site within one hour in the event of an emergency (including 15–20 minutes for secure access procedures), 24/7, 365 days a year.

  • Holds a valid driver’s license to transport equipment to worksites.

  • Is available to work rotating and irregular shifts, including mornings, days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

  • Is able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) following a background check.

  • Is willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time, sometimes on short notice, to remote airports in Québec or elsewhere in Canada (by air or occasionally by long-distance driving—up to 12 hours).

  • Works independently or as part of a team, both during the day and at night.

  • Has a sense of adventure and can adapt to frequent, short-term assignments in northern or remote regions of Canada.

  • Holds a high school diploma or a college diploma.
