Reporting to the General Management, the Director of Operations ensures smooth day to day activities and high quality service across all points of sale. The role includes coordinating production with the chefs and the Production Director to meet sales needs, while supervising store managers and the purchasing function. Responsibilities also include managing supply chains, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards, and meeting regulatory requirements.
The incumbent contributes to marketing initiatives, monitors performance indicators, and participates in recruitment efforts. They also play a role in managing IT systems and supplier relationships, embodying a mobilizing leadership style that unites teams around common objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or a related field
5+ years of experience in operational management, ideally in the restaurant or artisanal bakery sector
Strong skills in multi site coordination and team leadership
Proficiency with office tools (Excel) and comfort with POS systems and web platforms
Knowledge of MAPAQ and CNESST standards
Experience in cost optimization and KPI tracking
Ability to manage marketing projects and commercial operations
Valid driver’s licence
