Fierté Montréal
Since 2007, Fierté Montréal has been amplifying the voices of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities to ensure their representation, inclusion, and the recognition of their rights in society. As a driver of social change, our festival, community initiatives, and artistic and cultural projects celebrate the creativity and resilience of our communities. Attentive and collaborative with 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, we bring their struggles and realities to the forefront for both the general public and institutions.
Fierté Montréal presents its activities on Tio’tia:ke, unceded territory of the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation. Tio’tia:ke has historically been a gathering place for many First Nations, and today is home to a diverse Indigenous population as well as other peoples. In honoring the past, present, and future, Fierté Montréal acknowledges the ongoing relationships between First Nations, Métis, Inuit, and other members of the Montréal community.
