Les Grands Ballets Canadiens
Founded in Montreal in 1957 by Ludmilla Chiriaeff, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens was born from the dream of offering audiences the very best in dance by creating Quebec’s first professional ballet company. Today, the organization has evolved into a creative and production-driven company dedicated to the development of dance in all its forms, grounded in the discipline of classical ballet.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Sales, and Communications, the Communications and Public Relations Officer is responsible for media relations, partnership development, external communication strategies, content creation, and event planning. Acting as a spokesperson for the company, this individual helps to raise the profile of Les Grands Ballets both locally and internationally.
In addition to coordinating public relations initiatives within strategic plans, the Officer must engage both internal and external target audiences. The successful candidate will be expected to monitor strategic issues that could impact the organization, document them, and advise leadership on appropriate positions and actions.
