The Quebec Landlords Corporation (CORPIQ) is a non-profit organization that supports, defends, and represents owners of rental properties across Quebec. With over 40 years of experience and more than 30,000 owners and managers, CORPIQ is undoubtedly the largest association of its kind in the country.

As a leader in rental real estate in Quebec, CORPIQ’s mission is to advocate for the interests of property owners with industry stakeholders and government bodies.

CORPIQ quickly became very active, notably by challenging the constitutionality of the law creating the Housing Board (now the Housing Administrative Tribunal). The organization then increased its government involvement by bringing numerous cases before parliamentary committees and courts to protect rental property owners.

Over the years, CORPIQ has expanded its offerings for members to better support them in the daily management of their rental properties.

The organization also provides its members with a comprehensive range of services and tools tailored to their needs to improve the environment for property owners and their tenants while contributing to the financial and sustainable development of Quebec.

The role

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, and Mobilization, the Marketing Advisor will play a key role in developing CORPIQ’s service offerings to its members.

This person will analyze the market to understand trends and customer needs. They will actively participate in the design and implementation of effective marketing strategies to ensure CORPIQ’s relevance, competitiveness, and growth. The Marketing Advisor effectively promotes products through various channels and enhances the association’s brand image. Lastly, they analyze performance to optimize actions taken.

This role collaborates with senior management and other departments (communications, marketing, IT, sales, business development), as well as internal marketing teams and external consultants.

The right fit

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent training;
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in communication/marketing or marketing campaigns, SEO, marketing analytics;
  • Proven experience in project management (working with various stakeholders, budget and timeline management);
  • Skills in designing customer journeys;
  • Mastery of digital marketing platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or marketing tools to design and execute marketing campaigns;
  • Proficiency in online communication and promotion tools (social media, email marketing, etc.);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Analytics suites;
  • Writing skills;
  • Knowledge of media planning and buying;
  • Knowledge of the real estate and rental sector (an asset);
  • Knowledge of relationship marketing (an asset);
  • Experience in an agency (an asset).
