The role

As Regional Director for Radio-Canada Quebec, you are responsible for establishing the strategic direction and regional objectives for all Radio-Canada platforms. You oversee the regional station in Quebec City.

You lead a dynamic management team ready to tackle the current challenges in the media industry. You play a key role in developing and implementing performance indicators related to the positioning of regional stations. Engaged in the community, you represent the company to various community, cultural, and economic organizations in the Quebec region.

The right fit

  • University degree in a relevant field (e.g., journalism, communications, administration, etc.);
  • Excellent skills in strategic planning, implementation, and monitoring of key performance indicators;
  • Significant experience in team management, preferably in a unionized environment;
  • Exceptional leadership skills characterized by positivity, collaboration, and inclusiveness;
  • Superior abilities and keen interest in interpersonal relations and communications with employees, colleagues, community members, and external organizations;
  • Experience and knowledge of the media, cultural, and political landscape of the Quebec City region, including key stakeholders and markets;
  • Experience and proficiency in financial and budget management;
  • From Quebec or demonstrates excellent knowledge of the region;
  • Bilingualism (spoken and written) in English and French is essential;
