Of Senegalese and Canadian origin, Daba is fluent in French, English, and Wolof, and also understands Spanish.

She is currently completing a certificate in Industrial Relations at the Université de Montréal, adding to her two previous certificates in Organizational Development and Business Management from HEC Montréal.
