Founded in 2006, Perspectives Jeunesse’s mission is to support young people facing personal, family, academic, and social difficulties in order to prevent school and social dropout, facilitate school reintegration, and promote socio-professional integration. Perspectives Jeunesse is also an organization that supports, listens to, and informs parents as essential actors in the fight against school dropout.

The Role

With their expertise in fundraising and project management, the person in the position of Director or Manager of Philanthropic Development contributes to the sustainability and growth of Perspectives Jeunesse. They will work collaboratively and under the supervision of the organization’s General Management to achieve the objectives for which they will be responsible.

The Must-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to business development, communications, marketing, or project management ;
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in philanthropic development and fundraising ;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management ;
• Minimum experience in team management or team management skills ;
• Knowledge of business planning methods (market studies, budget forecasts, feasibility, risk assessment, etc.) ;
• Excellent writing skills (fact-based) ;
• Ability to facilitate business development and connect with people ;
• Good knowledge of the Office suite and very good digital literacy ;
• Certificate in entrepreneurial dynamics or entrepreneurial experience (a significant asset) ;
• Certificate in philanthropic management (an asset) ;
• Member of the Association of Philanthropy Professionals (an asset).
