La Cantine pour tous is a food security charity that brings together member organizations and collective enterprises wishing to develop their food services to better meet the needs of their clientele. In addition to capacity building for member organizations, La Cantine pour tous focuses on coordinating collective efforts: representing the interests of its members, it is the reference network for sustainable food security issues.

The role

Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, the incumbent leverages their expertise in developing and implementing internal and external communications and marketing strategic plans for La Cantine pour tous. They play a key role in enhancing the organization’s visibility by engaging in public relations activities, visibility and enhancement initiatives, promotion and marketing efforts, and brand development.

The right fit

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or equivalent; A minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, marketing, and public relations;
  • Experience in employee management;
  • Experience in overall strategic planning for communications and marketing, including support for business development activities;
  • Proven achievements in brand positioning and rebranding (campaigns, website, communication tools, external and internal communication, visibility and brand recognition development, etc.);
  • Strong skills in social media content strategy;
  • Experience in developing and managing media relations;
  • Experience in managing and maintaining relationships with external suppliers (agencies, freelancers, consultants);
  • Exceptional oral and written skills in French and English with strong writing skills in the first language (writing skills) in the second language;
  • Experience in a non-profit organization is a strong asset.
