The Fédération des milieux documentaires (FMD) is a non-profit organization (NPO) dedicated to strengthening cohesion among information professionals and ensuring access to reliable information that serves society. It achieves this through networking opportunities, organizing unifying events, offering continuing education, and sharing best practices. FMD also contributes to the development of innovative projects and effective tools, while promoting and representing the professions in the field.
In close collaboration with the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will lead the organization in consolidating and expanding its services, while fostering innovation, cross-sector cohesion, and the promotion of careers in the documentary field. As an ambassador of FMD’s mission and values, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact in a field that is essential to the collective well-being of society.
