The Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM) is a young organization created as part of the new governance for public transit in the Greater Montreal area. With a focus on sustainable development and regional cohesion, the ARTM plans, organizes, finances, and promotes public transportation in the metropolitan region to create a simple, integrated, seamless, and efficient mobility experience.

The ARTM at a glance:

  • 4,500 km² of territory, including 83 municipalities with highly diverse profiles;
  • 50% of Quebec’s population, representing over 4 million residents;
  • 5 public transit operators (buses, metro, light rail, commuter trains, adapted transit, and on-demand transportation): exo, REM, RTL, STL, and STM;
  • 700,000 daily validations (buses, metro, and trains).
The role

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Promotion, the Digital Marketing Advisor is responsible for planning and executing digital projects. The selected candidate will define and implement strategies for developing digital communication channels and online engagement.

The right fit
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field;
  • At least five years of relevant experience in digital project management;
  • Strong expertise in project management and web marketing (CMS management, social platforms, SEM, relationship marketing, performance tools) and web content writing;
  • Proficiency in content management systems (WordPress, other CMS), basic programming skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript…), and knowledge of best practices (UX, WCAG 2.0, SGQRI 008…);
  • Solid understanding of digital accessibility standards;
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their advertising tools;
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Cyber Impact), CRM tools, and marketing automation platforms;
  • Familiarity with surveys, contests, and interactive engagement strategies;
  • Experience with web monitoring, publishing, and analytics tools;
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
  • Experience in public transit or a public organization is an asset.

Note: This is a temporary position with a 12-month contract.
