The École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) is a constituent of the Université du Québec network. Specializing in applied engineering education, research, and technology transfer, it educates engineers and researchers known for their practical and innovative approach.

Since its inception, ÉTS has been steadfast in its mission across all activities: to meet the needs of the industrial sector, which requires engineers with not only excellent theoretical knowledge but also practical skills. To achieve this, the school maintains a unique partnership with the business world and industry, encompassing both large enterprises and SMEs. It distinctly sets itself apart from other Quebecois universities through its applied training for future engineers and its research activities conducted in collaboration with and for businesses.

The Role

Under the immediate supervision of the Communications and Student Recruitment Director, the incumbent is responsible for implementing and monitoring all initiatives and projects related to the Web and recruitment at ÉTS. The mandate includes developing and deploying Web and recruitment strategies. The role involves designing and implementing marketing and content strategies to meet objectives and ensuring the evolution of a modern digital ecosystem tailored to the communication and promotion needs of ÉTS, thereby increasing its national and international visibility. The incumbent is responsible for planning and organizing the work of employees in three multidisciplinary teams focused on recruitment, Web, and marketing.

The Must-Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, administration, or any other relevant discipline;
  • Relevant experience of at least five (5) years, including team management and project management;
  • Relevant experience in Web, recruitment, or advertising environments;
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and Web tools;
  • Knowledge of the university environment is an asset.
